Should We Be Able to Wear Hats at School

Alaura Hale, Staff Writer

Hats are a piece of fashion a lot of people wear. When it comes to school, we are not allowed to wear them. Why? In my school, kids grab others hats of and either hide them or run away with them. That causes conflict between two or more students. Fighting is a way to get into trouble.

To take off your hat is also, good manners. When you don’t take off your hat, it is disrespectful. There is no need to wear a hat indoors. There is no sun, or bright light indoor.

It’s good to let your scalp breathe also. It’s good for your head when you take of your hat because then your hair can grow. Wearing a hat can make you go bald as well. Taking a hat on and off can take out hair without you even knowing.

If you do something bad, then the school can identify you. Own up to what you did wrong. Teachers also want to see your face per say they were doing roll call. They can also tell if you are paying attention. That’s why I think people should take their hats off when they walk into a building.
