Should kids have homework?
November 21, 2017
No! I feel that school is already enough for kids. Do u? I feel that kids have other activities, that homework may be a little too much for kids. I can’t count how many times I stay up till 11-12 o’clock doing homework, even after sports or other stuff. I think that school is a time to learn, after school that is our time to do whatever not have to worrying about finishing a math paper or science homework. I know that our education is very important as well. But still my head tells me why homework?
Here are some benefits of homework. It helps kids with time management, also will help kids with priorities. It will help the teachers see how their kids are doing, and how the lessons are being understood. Homework may help kids to problem solve, homework gives students time to review and see what lesson and materials they are learning and being taught. It could also give the parents an idea what the kids are learning. Homework teaches kids that they need to do things even when they don’t want to, may prepare kids for the future.
Now here are some reasons kids shouldn’t have homework. Well I have to say is that I think kids need time to relax and get our minds off work. Coming home to homework may be hard and is pressuring, we need time to refresh our brains and minds. It takes time away from our families and family time. It is very important to spent time with our families especially a growing child. Taking that time from our free time can cause social problems.
All in all, I really do think that our education is very important for many reasons. On the other hand, I think having free time and relaxing time is beneficial in many ways as well. I think our education is important, preparation for the future is all important. Have you ever stayed up till 12 o’clock doing homework? I Have, it honestly takes away my family time. I think that we have a long enough and educated day at school do you really think that homework is really needed? After reading this do you have another look at having homework?
