Many songs where released in 2017 and we loved them. Lots of musicians had their break throughs and many had their downfalls. Thankfully these artists blessed us with one of the best years music of the generation.

Number one on Billboard Hot 100 Songs, “Shape of You” by Ed Sheeran was originally made for another singer. Ed was thinking for Rudimental to sing it with Rihanna. He played his song to his producer who said, “‘Why do you want to give this away?'”. Amazingly “Shape of You” has earned 13 awards including a Grammy for Best Pop Solo Performance. “Shape of You” was released on January 6th 2017 on his album Divide along with the song “Castle on the Hill”.

Second on Billboard Hot 100 Songs, “Despacito” by Louis Fansi, Daddy Yankee, and featuring Justin Bieber. “Despacito” was named Song of the Summer for 2017. The English translation for this song is “Slowly”. Most of the song is in Spanish. It was released on January 12th, 2017.

Third on Billboard Hot 100 Songs: “That’s What I Like” is a phenomenal song. It got the Grammy award for Best Song of the Year and 10 more awards! Obviously, this song was very liked. Congrats to Bruno Mars (the creator). Actually, Bruno Mars is not his real name, Peter Gene Bayot Hernandez is his real name. This song was released on January 30th 2017.
