What’s the Best Fitness App for You?

Today is all about new technology. The only way to be ‘cool’ is to have the latest iPhone or the coolest app. Today, I am going to go over some of the coolest and latest advertised fitness apps. Who doesn’t love a good fitness app? (I don’t.) Anyways, I am going to list three of the coolest/latest fitness apps that people use and I will also have some pros and cons of each one.
The first out of the three apps is My Fitness Pal. It cost $49.99 yearly, if you want a subscription. My Fitness Pal is an easy fitness app that has a rating of 4.7 stars on iPhone. It is number 4 in best fitness apps according to Amazon.com. It is technically a calorie counter and diet tracker, but many people still use it. It is number five in best fitness tracks because all you have to do is scan the barcode, and it will track the amount of calories you eat. It can also track water intake you exercise lengths and your weight goal (Genders1). However, a minor disappointing fact about this app is that it may not be one hundred percent accurate when tracking your calories (Genders 1). Another downside could be that the app seems a little addictive and some users have become “obsessed” with the it (Thewatcher_66 1).
The second app I would like to introduce is FitBit. FitBit is a very popular brand that has made many products. Some of those products are step trackers, smartwatches, smart scales, and wireless headphones (List of FitBit 1). If you happen to get the app, it can track the number of steps you take, your sleep quality, heart rate, steps you climb, etc. Pros of the FitBit app are that it is a great motivator, it is fun to challenge your friends, and it’s easy to use. Sadly, there are some downsides to the FitBit app. Some of the cons are: privacy issues and inaccurate data.
Last, but not least, is the app that all iPhone users know, Health. Health is a default app for all iPhone users. Here are some of the cons of using the Health app. The first con is that you can only use it on iPhone products. The second con is that it can’t work without internet/wifi. Now, on to the pros. The first one is that it can track all the necessary things that you would normally need. There is also the fact that it already comes with the iPhone you buy.
These are three fitness apps that I would recommend and so would others. I don’t use any of these but maybe you should! Thank you for reading.
