Help!

Have you ever been stranded on an island? On April 5th, 2016, three men were reported missing by their families after not attending the Micronesian island of Weno.

They were traveling there from their home island, Pulap when a large wave overtook their small boat they had been traveling in. Luckily for them, they had been wearing life jackets and ended up on a deserted island in the remote Pacific Ocean.

They had been on the island for three days when a U.S. Navy plane spotted the word “help” made of palm fronds along with the men waving their bright orange life jackets to catch their attention. Later, a boat picked them up and took them to a hospital. Luckily they were not injured and they were sent home safely.
