A Walk to Remember was directed by Adam Shankman in 2002.This movie stars Mandy Moore (Jamie), Shane West (Landon), Peter Coyote (Reverend Sullivan, Jamie’s father), and Daryl Hannah (Landon’s mother).

A Walk to Remember is about a boy named Landon, a rebellious teen who finds trouble where he ends up joining the school drama class. He is in need for some acting lessons so he goes to Jamie, the reverend’s daughter and full on Christian. Jamie only had one request before she began to teach him, don’t fall in love with her. The only thing is that soon Landon falls for her and asks her out she answers and they end up together.

Jamie has a list in the story. This list is to be in two places at once, get a tattoo, have a star named after her, experience a miracle, and get married in the same church her parents got married in. Landon helps her fulfill it. First he drives her to the border of Virginia and North Carolina, then once that is done her puts a wet-n-stick tattoo on her shoulder, and he has a star named after her. Then, one night, Jamie is quiet, and she explains why she told him not to fall in love with her; she has leukemia. So then to prove his love to her, he proposes to her. He marries and she soon passes away. Over the next 4 years he keeps a good relationship with her father. Does she get her miracle?

I recently watched this movie and loved it; everything went by fast it seemed. If you like wholesome romance dramas then I suggest this movie for you. Also read the book!!
