Overwatch

Overwatch is a team-based shooter made and published by Blizzard on May 24th, 2016, for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. It’s one of the only true competitive games along counter-Strike published by Valve, making Overwatch one of the only competitive games that became popular in recent years.

Overwatch is based around 22 characters with their own abilities and ultimate’s that can change the outcome of the match. They are also separated into groups, support, defense, attack, and tank. There are snipers but there’s no section for them. First are the supports. There is Mercy who heals constantly but is very venerable, Lucio heals very slowly but heals everybody in a radius and he can support himself, Zenyatta puts orbs on people that can buff teammates and make enemies take more damage, Symmetra can build turrets and set up portals, Ana is the most recent character who has a sniper that heals teammates and damages enemies and her abilities include a tranquilizer dart gun and a gas grenade that heals teammates. That’s just the supports if I were to list all of them the whole page would be filled up.

Overwatch is one of my favorite games of 2016 with its completive gameplay and fun characters and the team play aspects makes it also one of the best competitive games of all time.
