Panic! At the Disco

Panic! At the Disco is a popular rock band formed in 2004. During the early years of the band, the members were Ryan Ross, who sang and played guitar, Spencer Smith who played drums, Brent Wilson who played bass, and Brendon Urie on guitar, and a few more that I don’t feel the need to tell you right now. Ryan Ross used to be the lead singer but after hearing Brendon sing, they decided he should be lead singer instead. Over the years, the members in the band left, leaving Brendon Urie all alone. But it’s okay, sometimes they’ll come to help tour with him.

The band came up with their name from the lyrics to a song called “Panic” by the band Name Taken. When Panic! was just starting out, they contacted Pete Wentz from Fall Out Boy to send him a few of their tracks. He was so amazed, that he flew out to Las Vegas to offer them a contract with his label Decaydance, which is a part of Fueled by Ramen.

The band has five albums which are called, “A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out,” (which included the extremely popular song “I Write Sins Not Tragedies”) “Pretty. Odd.” “Vices and Virtues,” “Too Weird to Live, Too Rare to Die!” and “Death of a Bachelor.” Every album gets better and better.

Panic! At the Disco is an amazing band in my opinion, and I really think you should check them out if you haven’t already. My favorite song by them is probably “C’mon ft. Fun.” So if you’re bored or just want to find some new music, then I’d recommend giving them a try.
