Train to Busan is a South Korean horror-thriller film that revolves around a group of passengers in a train. Seokwoo and his daughter, Sooan, are on their way to Busan, when something bad happens. Somehow a girl who was infected got onto the train, no one knew what was going to happen, and all they were just focused on going to Busan. Soon the girl who got onto the train started getting other people infected, it was all chaos. All the stops they went to weren’t safe, so the only stop they could go to that was protected and safe was Busan. On their way to Busan many people die, and only a few survive.

Actor Gong Yoo plays as the role Seokwoo who is a divorced fund manager, workaholic, and a father. His daughter in the movie is played by Kim Suan, her character in the movie is the reason why they’re going to Busan, and she wanted to see her mom. The movie was released in May 13, 2016 in the Cannes which is a film festival. The movie is 118 minutes long, or an hour and 58 minutes.

The movie set a record for the first Korean film (in 2016) to break the record of most audience with over 10 million people watching the film. They also won Technical Award in the 36^th Korean Association Film Critics’ Awards, they won Audience Choice Award for most popular film. Train to Busan was named to be an Asian Blockbuster, the actors also won several awards. Some of the actors in the movie became really popular from the move, they gained even more fans and supporters.

In my opinion the movie was amazing, it was so suspenseful. The people who did the make up on the zombies are amazing, it looked so realistic. The way the actors acted were just wow, the movie itself was just intense. Some parts of the movie had me on the edge of my seat, other parts of the movie would make me cry. Train to Busan is the type of movie that could make you feel a lot of emotions especially sadness. I would definitely recommend this to anybody who likes zombie movies.
