Noragami is an anime Japanese show written/created by Adachitoka. Noragami is a modern fantasy story it roots in the Shinto religion where there are two layers of the world, the layer that we all live in, and the spirit layer that exists in the same place at the same time, invisible to normal humans. Yato is a minor god of calamity

Hiyori the main female protagonist of Noragami and is a simple high school girl, but that soon changed when she became a half-Ayakashi after “saving” Yato who was chasing after a cat called Milord from an oncoming bus. Hiyori’s appearance consists of her usually being in her school uniform, with her long dark brown hair and magenta eyes. When she turns into a half Ayakashi a purple tail like “cord” that resembles a strong resemblance to a cats emerges from her lower back, Yama and Ami although not main characters are Hiyori’s best friends the three are like a group, and are very supportive of each other especially in times of need. Yato one of the two main male protagonists presently considers himself a god of fortune although in the past he has been labeled as being a God of War, a God of Calamity, and the God of Depravity.

Yato appears as a young man in his early twenties, he is often seen wearing a navy blue jersey that has a small golden crown on the right side, along with a pair of brown leather boots and a faded white scarf. Personally my favorite part of Yato is his stunning blue eyes, Yato has black hair with what seems to have dark purple highlights that reaches his chin. Yato’s character shows to be a person who is pretty much very playful and childish with a sneaky side to him. He often pictures himself of being a very successful god with more followers than any other god and lots of shrine maidens at his fingertips. Yukine the third main protagonist and is also Yato’s only shinki (a person who was murdered or killed in an accident and in gods eyes deserves a second chance at life), when the name Sekki is called Yukine transforms into a silver katana with loose wrapped bandages around it and after becoming a Hafuri vessel (blessed regalia), his new form consists of two katanas shorter than the original but same design.

Although when Yukine is in his human form he appears as a youthful teenager with short blond hair and orange/reddish eyes wearing a white T-shirt, dark blue jeans, and a green knee length jacket with fur around the hood. All in all I loved this anime and recommend it if you haven’t watched it, Noragami is a blend of action, supernatural fiction and comedy, I personally loved the anime and wished they would make more seasons. Yep, so I suggest it if you haven’t watched and love comedy, supernatural fiction and action, well that’s all bye!
