Call of Duty Modern Warfare: Remastered
February 9, 2017
Call of Duty Modern Warfare: Remastered was released on November 7th 2016 and developed by Infinity ward. It was originally released in 2007 but was remastered due to popular demand. It went through some controversy because people wanted to buy the game by itself, but they had to buy Infinite Warfare with it for 80 dollars, which is way too much. But, most people didn’t care because they would just return Infinite Warfare. Then Activision (Publisher) decided to make you own Infinite Warfare in order to play Modern Warfare which showed people how money hungry Activision was.
The plot is, of course, the same. You play as an American for the US Marine Corps, but the main guy you play as is a Special Forces soldier for England. Anyway, a civil war is happening in Russia between the ultra-nationalist Vs and the government. Meanwhile, in the Middle East a man named Ala-sald takes over and assassinates another Middle Eastern country’s president on live TV starting a war with the US that leads to the American part of the campaign. Then after some time of fighting, he sets off a nuclear weapon that cripples the US forces invading the Middle East. For the rest of the game, you play as the guy fighting for England. There is a lot more plot but that’s all I’m going to say.
All the guns are nice to shoot and sound good. The remastered graphics were very good and all the levels looked amazing. The movement was fast and fun. There is pretty much nothing that that I hated about the gameplay or graphics.
The characters are interesting and the game is a lot of fun, and with the new graphics, this maybe be one of my favorite video game when I was a lot smaller and it still is now. I suggest if you bought it before you buy it now because it’s such a good game with plot, gameplay, characters, multiplayer and more. Even though it’s an old game and it has a high price, and I know I’ve said it a lot, I think you should buy this if you like call of duty.
