Student of the Year awards are given each year to 8th graders. Students of the Year get their name on a plaque that remains at WMS as well as a small plaque that they get to take home. There is also the Friendship Award which goes to students who show kindness and respect to all. Winning this award allows you to apply to a scholarship when in high school.
