Schnauzers

Schnauzers are a breed of dog that originated in Germany in the 15th and 16th centuries. The term comes from the German word “snout” and means colloquially “mustache” because of the dogs bearded snout. This dog is hypoallergenic. There are three different sizes of Schnauzers.

Miniature Schnauzer:

They live for 12-15 years. Minis have a height of 12-14 inches. They weigh around 12-20 pounds on average. They are smart, obedient, fearless, friendly, spirited, and alert. There are Black, White, Black and Silver, and Salt and Pepper as a color choice. The Miniature Schnauzer is the 10th most popular dog breed by registrations.

Standard Schnauzer:

They have a lifespan of 13-16 years. Standards can be 18-20 inches tall. This size can range from 31 pounds to 44 pounds. They are trainable, playful, intelligent, lively devoted, and good-natured. They are born Black or Salt and Pepper.

Giant Schnauzer:

They live for 12-15 years. Giants are 24-28 inches tall. The weight of the Giants is, on average, 55-110 pounds. They are loyal, strong willed, intelligent, powerful, dominant, and kind. They have Black or Salt and Pepper as a color choice.
