In my opinion, autumn is the best season because all the plants start dying and it’s cold, but not too cold. There are so many fun foods and celebrations during autumn.

The weather and nature is one of the reasons why I like autumn. All the animals get ready to hibernate and collect food for the winter. It rains a lot in autumn, but it can also be sunny too. There are usually clouds in the sky. Spiders may take refuge in your house to get out of the cold. You can get pumpkin pie. I have never tried it, but I hear it is good. I think it’s the best time to go out and be with others because it’s not too cold and not too hot. All the trees lose their leaves, and they become red,orange,and yellow.

Due to the weather, autumn is full of inside and outside activities. Autumn is a good time to stay inside too. I like sitting in my room, drinking hot cocoa, and eating chocolate pie. You could be lazy and sit around and watch tv all day, that’s what I do. You could knit sweaters and scarves and hats for friends and family. You can do some baking for friends and throw an autumn party for fun. You buy lots of pumpkins and carve them or paint them and decorate your house with them. Hunting season is also in autumn, and it is the best time to go fishing for crab.

One reason autumn is the best season is because of all the seasonal foods. You can get a lot of good food such as pumpkin pie, turkey, hot cocoa, and autumn Starbucks drinks, such as the pumpkin spice latte. You can roast pumpkin seeds and eat them; they’re very good. I like to eat them.

Another reason I like autumn is because there are so many things to celebrate. The Melon Festival, a local Winston tradition, is also in the fall. Halloween is in autumn and Halloween is my favorite holiday, so that’s another good reason why autumn is the best season. Thanksgiving is something you could celebrate during autumn. You could call over some friends and family and throw a Thanksgiving party. You can roast a turkey and stuff it with stuffing.

These are the reasons why I think autumn is the best season.
