The Hunger Games movie is the first movie in the four-movie series which started as a book series written by Suzzane Collins in 2008 which shortly turned into the four-movie series.

The Hunger Games is a movie that came out on March 23, 2012, which talks about the aftermath of the war when the world was split up into 12 districts called Panem. Ever since then, they have had the hunger games where two children, one boy and one girl, go into an arena with all the other districts and fight to the death. Katniss Everdeen played by Jennifer Lawrence and her co-star Josh Hutcherson who plays Peeta Mellark is chosen for the 74th Annual Hunger Games.

In the games, the love between Katniss and Peeta is so real and genuine. Peeta really plays his part well and shows the true trauma that you go through in the hunger games. The actors portray how bad the government has gotten and the cruelty of Snow, president of Panem, In the movie they bring in other characters like Rue played by Amandla Stenberg who shows the ignorance and coldhearted people of the Capitol let such a young kid go into the Hunger Games.

The acting of Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson really dig deep to show the trauma that they went through. I would definitely recommend this movie. Together the Hunger Games is a great film if you’re looking for action, romance, and comedy.
