Garth Brooks

I know a lot of people despise country music. But me, I don’t. I enjoy all the classic country music. Artists like Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, and others that are kind of new and not from the eighties/nineties, I don’t really enjoy as much as I do artists like Gretchen Wilson, Trisha Yearwood, Tim McGraw, and Garth Brooks. Out of every country singer ever, Brooks will forever be my favorite. Listening to his music makes me nostalgic from all the times my mom and I used to listen to him in the car. I remember my favorite songs of his being Unanswered Prayers and Papa Loved Mama.

Garth Brooks was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on February 7th, 1962. His family used to home shows where children were required to perform whether a song or a skit. And of course, he sang. When he was younger he was more focused on activity than music. He played several sports and got a scholarship for track. His roommate, Ty England, toured with him for a while until he went solo. His albums (and songs) have topped charts several times.

He’s been married to another artist, Trisha Yearwood, since 2005 and they have made music together on multiple occasions. They made an album together full of Christmas songs called Christmas Together .He and Yearwood have both made it onto a list of the richest couples. In my opinion, Brooks will always be the best country star, no matter what. His music is just so uplifting and fun to sing along to.
