2017’s Best Movies

2017 was another amazing year. It passed as fast as it came and lots of great things happened to guide America to it’s fantastic destiny. Lots of great family friendly movies were released in theaters in 2017 and here are three of them.

A movie named Monster Trucks was released in theaters on January 13th 2017. The director is Chris Wedge and some of the actors playing in the movie are: Lucas Till, Rob Lowe, Jane Levy, Berry Pepper, and Amy Ryan. This movie got 31% Rotten Tomatoes (a rating system on how good the movie was) and was enjoyed and given thumbs up by 79% of people who’ve watched it (according to Google). Monster Trucks is a great family movie that shows us to love things that are different and to help others when they are in need.

On February 10th 2017, The LEGO Batman Movie was released in theaters. The director is Chris McKay and some of the cast are: Will Arnett, Michael Cara, Rosario Dawson, Ralph Fiennes, Siri, Zach Galifianakis, Jenny Slate, and Jason Mantzoukas. The movie got 91% Rotten Tomatoes and was given a thumbs up by 92% of people who watched it (according to Google). This movie is a goofy, silly, fun movie that shows bad people can be good and can help their home (even when they cause it).

A movie called Beauty and the Beast was released in theaters on March 17th. The cast includes: Emma Watson, Dan Stevens, Luke Evans, Emma Thompson, Kevin Kline, and Josh Gad. The director is Bill Condon and many think he directed it well, if you couldn’t tell by the ratings which were very good. On Rotten Tomatoes the movie got 71% and on Google ratings it got an 88%. You can definitely call this movie a great success. This is a family friendly, heart melting, original Disney treasure that has, once again, stolen our hearts.
